Course Overview

BA LLB as a course has always been a choice for a lot of students both in India and globally. With a solid foundation of core subjects such as Business Law, Constitutional Law, Code of Civil Procedure, Election Law, Political Science, Drafting & Pleading, Economics etc. BA LLB promises a lucrative career both financially and socially. After successfully completing BA LLB, one can choose to study further such as LLM or PhD in Law. The eligibility criteria for both LLM and PhD in Law are different in terms of course structure and syllabus.

Eligibility

In order to be able to appear for an BA LLB course, students must check the eligibility criteria for the same. Almost all colleges follow more or less the same eligibility criteria, they are as follows,

    A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with an aggregate marks of 50% or an equivalent CGPA score from any recognized University / College
  •  
    A relaxation of 5% is granted to students who are from the SC/ ST/ PWD background.
  •  
    Final year candidates are also eligible for applying for the course, however their admission will be subject to changes depending on their final results.
